Isn't oil of oregano, the miracle cure,

My significant other operating at a small business office in a city outside of Cochrane, and not long after this began working there for found that it was very excited about the healing properties of oil of oregano, that their conduct as a cure for, well, basically anything officemates. Your child has a cold? Use oil of oregano. You have a headache? Oil of oregano. Severed limbs? Oil of oregano! What is even more amusing is that when I was at the Office one day to drop something, I heard one of my supporters oregano oil from chide for "narrow-minded thinking" and told me to "come on the side of science."

Hmmm. Science?

Thus, it is not particularly familiar with oil of oregano, I took to my books and powerful but often misleading Internet with bones. my previous experience with this told me that as a topical anti-bacterial, oil of oregano actually have some legitimate quality which may be useful in a pinch if you had no other way to deal with external contamination. But as often happens with medicinal alternative therapies, touted as a therapy, but (somewhat DISTURBINGLY) often treated more as a cure-alls.

The Web, as it turns out, is chock full of interesting articles about this miracle cure, but unfortunately most of the articles is filled with nothing but jokes about how wonderful this is oil.A brief search, found that oil oregano is supposedly welfare colds, flu, sore throat, bronchitis, sinusitis, asthma, bladder infections, kidney infections, peptic ulcers, fatigue, headaches, allergies, bad breath, indigestion, parasites such as Giardia Lambia (Beaver fever), cold sores, puncture wounds, dandruff, presenting, athlete foot, nail fungus, boils, bed sores, head ice, ringworm, eczema, Psoriasis, arthritis, back pain, and a whole lot more. briefly, it is likely that oil oregano can make all of them, possibly even making all multi millionaires who are continuously-happy and never pay taxes, but it can also ensure world peace. Okay, I admit that I am exaggerating, but you should read some of these websites to believe them. I think that if this stuff made even a small part of what the claim to do this, you will be cured of cancer.

Let's face it, every time that a product has a list of pathologies that can cure that is long, it only has to raise an eyebrow and ask about how realistic something like this potentially could be.As it turns out, great the hullaballoo over oil of oregano stems from some very real studies have revealed some interesting things. Firstly, it is likely that oil oregano has some antibacterial properties in a test tube. preliminary test (and I stress the word preliminary) seem to have antidepressant-like effects, anti-inflammatory effect on mice colitis in mice and some other interesting results in rodents. it should be noted that in these studies of oil of oregano was swallowing and not smeared on the legs. But here's the thing folks, the list of medicines and therapies which looked promising in mice and rats and proved useless (or dangerous) in humans is very long. some studies showing some results as they are a good start, but this is a very fast start, and not as a basis for initiating therapy with this stuff.

As the website sciencebasedpharmacy.com so eloquently puts it:

"Oil of oregano is a great example of how test tube studies may be grossly misleading to imply substantial effects on humans. With oil of oregano, a few small studies have been carried out mainly in the laboratory, and the believers claim should expect the same thing when we verbally. "

The problem with the miracle koinotismoy cures such as this are that many supporters have connected the dots between these small studies and reality. in fact, when looking at the pro-oil of oregano Web sites often one finds the same references as a study by the University of Tennessee again and again to justify that this miraculous solution can solve all your medical problems as well as privately.Readers seem to be encouraged to "try on what ails you, and of course most of these sites also have links to buy their oil oregano products.

This strikes me as perhaps the most entertaining aspect of this is that these people in Office who are all trained but not in science, I think the delivery system which is more efficient to produce oil of oregano is to rub feet of one.I kid you not ... for some reason is the best way to deliver this wonder drug delivery system established and tested drugs are the soles of our feet is so ridiculous it yet and I don't know where to begin. everyone can think is that at some point some therapists reflexology got themselves into olive oil of oregano craze and decided that this oil in double bottoms of the feet for someone is an effective way to deliver the drug in all parts of the body to adopt the miracles that are certainly approaching.

Like something like this, the real danger lies in people above Western medicine for serious complaints, such as cancer, asthma or diabetes in favour of an oil oregano treatment/treatment. of course, most folks will try typical medicine and oil of oregano as a complement to medical treatment, and the usual result side to this is in the patient's pocketbook. However, for those who decide to waive standard therapies, this can obviously lead to some serious problems, and for this reason, if no other is important to stay frosty and keep folks trained as much as possible. even if a person is inspired to think twice, it's a worthwhile effort. who knows, maybe the oregano oil will prove to be something very special, but until that day comes I'm going to keep my feet planted with terra firma so my head remains outside the clouds of imagination as to what may be supposed to make any miracle cure.
